Ingredients
Small sized steamed baby corns 20-25
plain flour- 1 cup
Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Gram flour - 2 tbsp
Green chillies finely chopped - 2 green
1 " piece - ginger, grated or finely chopped
Garlic, peeled, crushed - 3 to 4 cloves
Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped - 1 tbsp
Oil to deep fry
Salt to taste
Method
- In a large bowl, put all the ingredients except, steamed baby corns and oil.
- Add water to make a batter neither too thin nor thick. The consistency of the batter should be just as to cover the baby corns properly.
- Heat oil in a wok on medium flame.
- Dip each corn in the batter, drop gently into the hot oil, to deep fry.
- Fry the baby corns till they becomes golden brown.
- Take out the baby corn fritters on absorbent paper to remove the excess oil.
- Repeat for the remaining baby corns.
- Serve hot with chutney, salsa or ketchup.
