Easy Mayonnaise Recipe at home

Here I am posting a method how to make Mayonnaise at home.This will need easily available ingredients and equipments.Hope you will like it :)
This mayonnaise goes good with salads,sandwiches,burgers

Preparation Time : 20 ~ Minutes
Total Time : 20 ~ Minutes

Ingredients Required

1 Raw Egg
1 Cup vegetable cooking oil
1 table spoon white vinegar/Lemon juice
1 table spoon sugar
1 tea spoon powdered mustard.
1 tea spoon of salt
 A pinch of crushed pepper

Equipments
Food processor/blender



Make all the ingredients at room temperature first.

Method
1.Break the egg into the blender and whip for 1 minute at full speed.
2.Put one tablespoon of oil into the blender and run it again for 30 seconds.
3.Repeat the step 2 until you are done with whole 1 cup of oil.
This will result into a thick white paste of liquid as the raw egg is cooked with the heat of blending.
4.Now mix half of the vinegar into the blender and again whip it.
5.Put the sugar into the mix and blend until sugar is dissolved.
6.Mix the remaining vinegar into the paste and blend again.
Consistency of the mix would be a bit oily but nothing to worry :) this will improve once refrigerated.Get all the mix into a bowl and add the salt,crushed mustard seeds & pepper.
Taste it and enjoy.This mayonnaise need to be consumed withing 3-4 days and should be refrigerated all the time .So make the mayo in small quantities.

Tips :
You can replace the vinegar with same quantity of lemon juice,if you don't like the harsh acidic taste of vinegar.
Mustard is optional,you could always experiment with herbs also:).
