Ingredients
Soya chaap - 6-8 (500 grams)
Black cardamom -1
Cinnamon stick - 1
Clove - 4
Black pepper - 7-8
Onion - 2 medium sized
Tomato - 5 medium sized
Ginger - 1 1/2 inch piece
Green chillies (finely chopped) - 2
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cream - 200 grams
Oil - 6-8 tbsp
Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 3-4 tbsp
Salt to taste

Red chilly powder - 1 tsp

Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Cream - 200 grams

Fresh coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 3-4 tbsp

Method
- Cut soya chaap in 1 inch pieces.
- Heat oil on medium flame. Then put soya chaap pieces it it and fry till golden brown.
- Take out the fried pieces of soya chaap in a plate and keep aside.
- In a blender, blend tomato, ginger, chilli to make a fine paste.
- In a separate wok, heat oil,then add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds start crackling, add asafoetida, black cardamon, cinnamon, clove, black pepper and saute for a minute.
- Add onion and fry till translucent. Add tomato-ginger-green chilly paste. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder. Saute until oil starts separating from the masala.
- Add garam masala powder and cream. Stir continuously else the cream will splatter. Saute till masala starts simmering. Then add 1 cup water and stir.
- When it starts boiling add salt and soya chaap pieces. Cover the wok and cook it for 5-8 minutes on low to medium flame.
- Turn off the stove and sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, then again cover the wok for few minutes. It would give the gravy a very good colour.
