Ingredients
Ripe avocados - 2 large
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Fresh Lime Juice or Lemon Juice - 1 tbsp
Red Onion or Green Onion Finely Chopped - 1 medium
Serrano chiles Finely chopped - 1-2
Minced Garlic - 2 cloves
Cilantro leaves finely chopped - 2 tbsp
Freshly Ground Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Ripe Tomato (seeds and pulp removed) - 1/2
A pinch of sugar
Method
- Cut the avocados in two equal halves and remove the seed.
- Take a bowl and scoop the flesh of avacado with the help of a spoon.
- Then, roughly mash the flesh of avocado in the bowl. Make sure, not to mash it finely.
- Sprinkle salt and add lime juice.
- Add onion, black pepper, cilantro, and chiles.
- Let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
- Serve it with fresh tortilla chips.
Note: For preserving it, you can keep it in an air tight container and refrigerate it.
