French Toast

French Toast

Ingredients
Bread Slices - 8
Milk - 2/3 cup
Sugar - 2 1/2 tbsp
Butter - 5 tbsp
Vanilla Extract - 1 tsp
Eggs - 4
Cinnamon coarsely ground - 1 tsp
Nutmeg ground finely - 1/4 tsp

Method
  • Take  a bowl and whisk together eggs, milk and vanilla extract.
  • Add sugar, nutmeg and cinnamon to it and mix well.

  • Take a non-stick pan. Melt butter on a griddle on medium flame.
  • Dip bread in the mixture prepared.

  • Cook on medium heat until golden brown, then turn over the bread to cook the other side until golden brown.

  • Now, French Toast is ready. 
  • Serve it warm with butter, fruit syrup, maple syrup, honey, or jam.
Note: You can cut the bread in desired shapes like triangular, oval, rectangular, heart shaped etc. and proceed ahead with the recipe.
